So called 5 star. Real 3 star. Visited in weekdays for 1 night. The room we booked at approximately was HKD2, Mable floor was kind of molded deep inside and turned to gray color.
Room size was huge with a corner in the sitting room was funnily decorate, heard that was originally a jacuzzi area. Don't know why was that blocked!!!
Bathroom amenities was vulgar and didn't match with it's palace like atmosphere at all. Breakfast served in the cafe was average.
Tried to walk around in the hotel but it seemed empty, with a lot of empty and unfinished area everywhere. The gym was tiny and with just a few equipments.
Nothing to do, neither within the hotel nor the surrounding. The entire experience impaired my expectation to this so called 5 star hotel.

We were in Macau for the weekend during our recent trip to Hong Kong. Someone from the hotel we were staying at Grand Hyatt - which was also extremely nice had mentioned that we check out the hotel after exploring the Panda sanctuary which is a block away.
The hotel was apparently one of the most expensive hotels ever built 1. We initially went there for lunch and hoping to get a quick tour during the hour that the Panda sanctuary closes for lunch.
We were greeted by an extremely nice employee, Prince, who gave us a tour of the public portion of the hotel.
We were absolutely blown away with the lavish and luxurious public space, which was covered with extravagant paintings, gold trimmings, and numerous statues.
I literally kept imaging John Hammond from Jurassic Park saying "No expense was spared". We ate at the "western" restaurant there for lunch, and had a very well made American Wagyu burger.
After lunch, we went back to the Panda sanctuary and on our way there decided to spend a night in the hotel - because we didn't think we would every have a chance to stay at such a luxurious hotel again for a bargain price The hotel has not yet received its casino license and there for the rooms are ridiculously cheap compared to what you get.
There really are no words to describe the room other then "Wow". Open for: Lunch, Dinner, High tea. Food: French, International, European.
